The Growing Years

After we got married, Marty and I lived in an apartment on Van Buren Avenue, and we lived there until September of 1988 when we bought our home in Clinton. And then in July of 1989 we were blessed with the birth of our daughter Kimberly. She has been the light of our lives ever since. (well most of the time anyway...)

Meet Our Family

I grew up in Clearfield, the youngest child of five. Marty grew up in Redlands California, and Sunset Utah. We both attended Sunset Junior High, and Clearfield High shool, but did not know each other. We were attending Weber State, and the Ogden LDS Institute , and I overheard him tell someone he lived in Sunset, so I asked him if he went to Clearfield, and that was the first time we spoke. That was October of 1984. On February 1, 1985, we had our first date, after a performance with the Institute Chorale. We dated off and on until May, stopped seeing each other for awhile, then in June began dating seriously. We were married on June 12, 1986 in the Salt Lake Temple.That was 1 year to the day from the first time we said those 3 little words....( I love you). Here is a photo from the big day.
