So, when we go camping, pretty much the entire family comes with. So we have 3 motor homes, and a varying number of tents. Along with the usual hiking, fishing, etc. we like to sit around and visit, and of course eat! And we play games too...
Summer Camping fun

Well, it has been quite a while since I have posted anything. So here is just a little update on our summer so far. We have been on quite a few camping trips with the Turner gang. We have gone to South Fork, Stillwater, and Uintah Lands. As you can guess, we love the mountains.
Kimberly and Haley had a great time on the 4 wheelers!
Marty and Carol June 12 1986

Wow!
I can hardly believe it, but today Marty and I have been married for 22 years! It has gone by so quickly. And I realized that I have now been married for half of my life, longer than I was single.
Crazy huh! If I had a good new picture of the 2 of us together I would post it to show we haven't changed too much... ha ha!

So, Happy Anniversary honey!

Zion National Park

So, for Memorial Day weekend we went to Zion National Park. Even though I have lived in Utah all of my life, I have never been there. It is really a beautiful place!! I really enjoyed it. On Thursday we went to Beaver Dam, where Marty's parents live. All 3 of our motor homes are parked at their house during winter, so we had to pick them up. That evening we went to see Indiana Jones and The Crystal Skull. We thought it would be crowded, as it was the first full day of that movie being open. Much to our surprise, there were only about 25 people in what was a very nice theater. That is a great way to see a brand new movie!!! The next morning we left early for Zion. Right after we arrived it started to rain, so I was very glad we were in a motor home and not in a tent!! But the storm passed quickly, and we had a very nice trip! Here are a few pictures from the trip.

The M.G.'s
Ahh, the M.G.'s . The Missionary Girls Club. ( at least that is what I call them )
Kimberly has a group of friends that all have missionaries out right now, and they get together often. I snapped this photo when they were at our house watching a movie.

Mother's Day 2008
Mothers Day was a very nice day for me. Marty made breakfast for me, and my gift was a DVD of a Collin Raye concert. I happen to be a Big fan, and it is a great concert! It was filmed in Salt Lake, and most of the songs had something to do with God, or faith, and it was very uplifting. After church we went to a barbecue at Bob and Erin's house. I thought it was pretty generous of the newest parents to host all of us for dinner. I had planned to get more photos, but we got busy visiting and the only photo is of Devon holding his new cousin Bryce, who is now 4 months old. We have such cute family members!!
VACATION !!!
Well, I am not very good at keeping up on the blog. Maybe now that Kimberly has her first year at Weber State University under her belt, I can get her to help contribute to this blog. One of my excuses is that I have been sick ( cough cough)
Anyway, next up is a Mother's Day barbecue, and then we are heading south to go to Zion National Park on the 22 of May with the Turners.
So, get the motorhome ready, and filled with gas, and off we go !!!
